Oct 19th 2010

This week Dan Willis was M.C. and the audience joke competition is back as a regular feature. Dan came up with 'What's the similarity / difference between Cheryl Cole and a Spatula. And it wasn't all DIY comedy, we had acts providing jokes too!

James Christopher
presented a new character act - The Jazz triangle player!

Radical Feminist Dr. Carlos (He's not a real doctor but he does like to tell people what's wrong with them.)was back with more of his slightly disturbing musings.

Sharon Race popped in for a quick 5 minute set.

Chirpy Irishman Alan Fletcher talked about unfortunate business names- Who'd get their hair cut at Ryan Hair?

Rich Pullen had a round up of the weeks news and discussed the overwhelming urge to lie about your favourite movie to look cool.

Our newbie this week was Dale(if you're looking for him in the facebook gallery he's the chubby kurt cobain) He got through his set and had a few decent lines- not at all bad for a first shot, sir.

Rory (do you think you're tall, do you?) McAlpine spoke of his escape from backward Durham and his trials among the hobbits and goblins of Geordieland. -Though mainly he talked about how bright the new stage lights are. -NOTE TO ALL ACTS- YES THE STAGE LIGHTS ARE SURPRISINGLY BRIGHT WHEN YOU'RE UP THERE BUT THE STAGE LOOKS MUCH BETTER SO STOP GOING ON ABOUT IT. -Thankyou.

And the competition winner:- da, dada, da, da, da,da...

What do Cheryl Cole and a Spatula have in common? They can both touch my sausage.
-They're a sophisticated lot, the LLC crowd.
